Somebody was pretty interested in all the mud crusted on my bikes when I got home.
What do you call the type of mud that has a bunch of grass and assorted other shit mixed in it?
In a crazy cyclocross way, this weekend was a lot of fun.
I'll have more to say about it later.

What's in your drivetrain?

Damn dude! I'm not sure if I'm bummed I didn't race this weekend or happy I didn't race this weekend. Nice job.
Surprised Shimano doesn't put heavy support behind cross. Riding in that crap must chew up whole drivetrains in weeks.
SRAM is making a big push in 'Cross this year with their Force & Rival gruppos.
I'm dreading cleaning and overhauling the bikes, but at least they'll be primed for Reston and Natz.
This weekend was fun if you had the right frame of mind. There was a lot of stuff that was eff-ed up and hopefully fixed for next year, but I didn't let it bother me.
Man, here I am committed to single speed cross, and missing all these mud rides. Dangit... the only times I'm likely to be halfway competitive (except among other SS Lovin' Weirdos like myself) and find cleanup easier than everybody else, and I had to go spend the day drinking beer and watching Mich/OSU...
Come to think of it, maybe that wasn't a bad alternative to spending 4 hours cleaning my bike.
great pics
is it Thor's task to clean the bikes?
I need to assign tasks to my boys
right now they are little slackers
guess they are a chip of the old block
